Learn More About Our Ministries
Grace Free Church offers many ministry programs for the young and old.
Ignite Student Ministries
8th – 12th grade
Ignite is the name of Grace Free’s Student Ministries. Fanning into flame the faith of our young people is a top priority for Grace Free. On any given Wednesday night, you’ll find a nice balance of teens involved at different levels of their faith. We have teens from the church along with the friends they’ve invited from school. The group meets Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Our night offers fellowship, worship, bible study and game-time.
Just as the overall vision for Grace Free is CONNECTing with God, the Body, and the Community, so it is with our student ministries. Throughout the year, events and activities occur that mold and shape our youth in all three of these areas. God is at work developing a wave of leaders for today and the future.
AWANA
Preschool through 6th grade
Wednesday nights from 6-7:30 pm, children from the area gather at Grace Free to learn God’s truth through memorizing scripture, bible teaching, singing, and game time. AWANA has been a staple at Grace Free for many years and has seen some tremendous ministry occur. Grace offers AWANA from preschool thru 6th grade.
Men of Grace
Saturday mornings (7-8:30 am) men from Grace Free and surrounding churches gather for breakfast and to study God’s Word. They have activities throughout the year such as tackling service projects in the community and a summer outreach retreat for men in the community.
Release Time
According to [Minnesota Statute 120.10(3)(3)] Students aged 7-15 are allowed up to three hours per week to attend religious education. On Wednesday mornings, Grace Free partners with Elbow Lake Baptist Church to lead the Release Time Program at WCA North Elementary in Elbow Lake. Katie Swanson is the Director of this amazing ministry that God has provided. Each week we have 40 children attend. They worship loudly and hear a message from God’s word.
